Activity #3 – “A Sunday School Health Check”

(This is a two-part activity. Complete both parts of the activity, as instructed.)

PART 1 - “What is the make-up of your Sunday school?

Imagine that the 100 dots below are the members of your Sunday school. If your Sunday school had exactly 100 members, how many would be children? How many would be youth? How many would be young adults? How many would be middle-aged adults? How many would be senior citizens? In other words, what percentage of your average attendance is children, youth, etc? Circle the number of dots to indicate the number of people in each group and then write the group name beside each circled group. This activity is intended to help you visualize the demographic make-up of your Sunday school, to help you see the groups to which you are most effectively ministering and the groups that you might need to work a little harder to get involved.
